Lithuania to Poland

Lithuania shares borders with Poland, Kaliningrad (Russia), Belarus and Latvia and all of them have influenced the culture and architecture over time. Foreign occupation of the country has meant a constant battle to try and retain their cultural origins and maybe explains why everyone seems so serious - no smiling allowed and avoid eye contact!
